A Note from Melissa Gallico
Hello. I'm Melissa. I launched the #Fpollution podcast in July 2019 because I believe ending artificial water fluoridation is the most important action we can take right now as a society.
I was not always so bold in stating my views. Growing up, I was the quiet kid in class who rarely raised her hand. I was more interested in listening to other people's ideas than sharing my own. I knew I was smart, but so are a lot of other people. I didn't think my insight was particularly unique or valuable. I didn't realize my history teacher meant it when he said my papers were as close to perfect as he was comfortable with, or that I qualified for Mensa in the fourth grade.

As an undergraduate student in the 1990s, I chose a career in national security because I saw terrorism as the biggest threat to my country and I wanted to help protect it. But after working in that field for over 15 years, my assessment has changed.
Maybe there aren't a lot of other kids in class talking about fluoridation right now, but this is me raising my hand.
Melissa Gallico is the founder of Gallico Studios, author of The Hidden Cause of Acne, and host of the #Fpollution podcast. After graduating with honors from Georgetown University with a degree in science, technology, and international affairs (STIA), Gallico served for five years as an officer in the United States Navy before transitioning to a career as an intelligence analyst with the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
During her time at the FBI, Gallico was selected for a Fulbright scholarship to the United Kingdom where she received a master's degree in international studies from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. It was her time in unfluoridated Scotland that led to the realization that the chronic acne she experienced in the United States was caused by fluoride added to the public water supply.
